Flowers was a bigger theme when Vairamuthu and Ilayaraja were together. After that period the number of songs on flower has reduced. Recently there were a few songs with flower as the theme but either the lyrics are poor or the song is dull. So here are our picks for you with a combination of new and old. Listen and watch!

	Album: Siddu +2 Song: Poove Poove ...	Yuvan Shankar Raja is having a golden run. While all songs composed by him are topping the charts, songs sung by him are also topping the chart. This song sung by him and composed by Dharan is heart wrenching and really topping this list. Lyrics are good too - especially about Newton's law ! Don't miss to listen.
	Album: Paiyaa Song: Poongkatre Poongkatre ...	Best music album. All the songs are racy and pacy. Another chart buster by Yuvan in the same album. We provided the two other songs with shower theme in our previous issue. Check out our April Showers issue.
	Album: Autograph Song: Ovvoru Pookalume ...	This song got the national award for the lyricist - Pa.Vijay however it is a shame that the music composer Bharadwaj did not get for this song/movie! Bharadwaj is one of the under rated composers within Tamil cine Industry. He has some very good collection of songs to showcase himself. Video is exceptionally visualized and very inspiring to watch !
	Album: Ninaithale Inikkum Song: Alagai pookuthey ...	Another talented composer - Vijay Antony. When this title was announced many wondered whether this movie could make an impact in the shadow of Kamal-Rajini-Balachandar-MSViswathan's "Ninaithale Inikkum". Vijay Anthony took efforts to ensure that all the songs can stand out in this album. This song is an apt for our flower issue. Beautiful melody!
	Album: Something Something Song: Pooparikka Neeyum pogathe ...	Interesting folk composition by Devi Sri Prasad. Not a typical DSP fast style but he has done a good job. The video is entertaining with a nice backdrop.
	Album: Roja Song: Kaathal Rojave ...	AR Rahman's first movie album. What to say? Beautiful composition and marks the beginning of a new genre of tamil songs.
	Album: Poovizhi Vasalile Song: Chinna Chinna Roja Poove ...	Classic Ilayaraja's melody with KJ Yesudoss rendering the voice.
	Album: Solla Thudikkuthu Mansu Song: Poove Sembpoove Un Vaasam Varum ...	Another Ilayaraja's lullaby. The surprise factor for this video is that the song is enacted by a neat looking Radha Ravi and not by Karthik! Good trick by the director!
	Album: Ilamai Kalangal Song: Eeramana Rojave ...	A big KJ Yesudoss's hit with Ilayaraja. This song was played all over, sung all over and liked by every one! How could Ilayaraja make such wonderful songs with less instruments.
	Album: Poove Poochoodava Song: Poove Poochoodava ...	What a song! Our pick to recognize grand mothers in this mothers day month!
