Answer: (d) Flint,Michigan. Flint, a city right outside of Detriot (ranked number 2 in crime) had the highest crime rates than any other city in America. Last year, the city had 2729 aggravated assualts and 63 murders. This is exceedingly high for any suburban town. Flint has suffered economically in the last couple of years. However, Governor Rick Snyder, has allocated 3 million dollars to fix crime in Flint. Detroit, Oakland, and Baltimore ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.

Weekly wages in San Francisco has doubled in the last year, going up 107.3% between the 4th quarters of 2011 and 2012. The big change happened when Facebook moved it's headquarters into the county. The average weekly wage in the county is 1,700 dollars. About 6000 employees in the computer industry earn 83,000 dollars a week. Vero Beach, Midland, and Fond du Lac ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.

The weekly wages in Anniston-Oxford declined 3% during the 4th quarter of 2012. In addition, the number of jobs available declined by 4.2%. Rocky Mount, Elizabethtown, and Atlantic City ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.

Answer: [b] Hawaii

Gas prices in Hawaii average 4.50 dollars a gallon. These prices exceed all the states by more than 50 cents. The gas prices are high because gas needs to be shipped over the ocean to Hawaii. Hawaii also has the highest taxes on gas (69 cents a gallon). Alsaka, Illionis, and New York ranks 2nd, 5th, and 8th respectively.

Answer: [a] Pennsylvania

No state has a higher precentage of deficient percentage than Pennsylvania. In over 3 counties, 40% of the bridges are structurally dangerous. In addition, the bridges are more than 50 years old which increases danger. Pennsylvania legislature is making efforts to improve these bridges. Rhode Island and Oklahoma rank 2nd and 3rd.
