Our next issue

Submission Guidelines

Our next issue will be in last week of Jan 2013. If you would like to submit your stories, poems, experiences, humor, photos or artwork you are most welcome! Your submission must reach us before 10th Jan 2013. The prompts or theme for the next edition are:

  • "Cabbages/Oranges"
  • "Women's Healthy Weight/Folic Acid Awareness"

Your stories, poems or experiences must use one of the above prompt or theme as a part of the submission. For humor, photos or artwork you can use the above prompt as titles.

The submission must be original and must not violate any existing copyrights. The submission can be in English or Tamil/Hindi or Tamil/Hindi-English. Keep in mind that you are addressing a world wide audience while creating your submissions. There is no constraint on age or location or profile. The submission must be interesting and relevant for that month's theme. A new beginning in 2012: Unskewing skewed polls


This year saw a plethora for Presidential election campaign polls which were discounted to be skewed towards one party or the other. Nate Silver, creator of political blog five-thirty-eight averaged data from every poll and consistently predicted that Obama will win the election. This has laid down a new path for the unskewing polls for long-time into the future !
