Have you said thanks recently?

You are gifted with 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say thank you? If not, act now. Your feeling of silent gratitude is not valuable to anyone. A kind word of thanks can double the receiver's happiness and beautify his/her day.

Thanks giving holidays are becoming less of 'thanks' giving and more of shopping. Every year the stores are opening earlier and earlier. People are spending less time with their family and spending more time shopping online or at store. National Retailers Association reported that this year 226 million shoppers spent 52.4 billion over the thanks giving weekend. On an average each shopper spent around 400 dollars. By the way, who said that US is falling into recession?

After 50 years, a US Secretary of State visited Myanmar this week. Pundits are speculating the purpose of this visit. Is this a counter move to deter the excessive interest shown by China in Myanmar? It is unclear at this time. However, big powers think it is worth exploring the relationship with Myanmar.
