Color psychology believes that Colors impact human minds, feelings and mood in different ways. In fact, Ancient Egyptians and Chinese believed that human mind, behavior and body condition could be altered by appropriate exposure to various colors. This type of therapy is known as "Chromotherapy". For example, in this treatment:

* Red was used to stimulate the body and mind and to increase circulation.
* Yellow was used to stimulate the nerves and purify the body.
* Orange was used to heal the lungs and to increase energy levels.
* Blue was used to soothe illnesses and treat pain.
* Indigo shades were used to alleviate skin problems.
